According to local reports citing the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, human remains were found Thursday in a shallow grave at a property in the Freeport area. Some reports identified the location as Sunset Lane, while another local outlet described the property as being off Sunrise Lane. Because of that discrepancy, officials’ broader description of a Freeport-area property is the safest wording at this stage.

Investigators have identified two suspects in the case, according to reports. Bobbi Wagstaff, 31, has already been arrested and charged with accessory to capital murder after the fact and possession of methamphetamine.

Deputies are still searching for Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, who is wanted on a murder charge, according to local reports citing the sheriff’s office. Johnson is described as approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and about 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Authorities say Johnson has ties to the Freeport area and Georgia and has been known to use several aliases. Reported aliases include Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy, and related variations listed in Walton County jail records.

Anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 892-8111. Residents who believe they have seen her are advised not to approach and to call 911 immediately.
