Sukihana Reflects on Fighting ‘Baddies’ Co-Star Who Kept Saying N-Word: ‘I’d Do It Again’

Sukihana got into a physical altercation with her co-star, Gretchen “Big Gretch” Cotto, on the reality show, ‘Baddies.’

Sukihana has no respect for non-Black people who use the N-word.

In a new conversation on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay, the TV personality and rapper looked back on her physical altercation with co-star Gretchen “Big Gretch” Cotto on the Zeus Network reality show, Baddies.

“I tore her ass up. I’d do it again,” Sukihana said at the 1:01:30 hour mark. “Ain’t no white woman about to sit in my face and keep saying ‘N***a,’” she explained, adding, “It hurt me real bad.”

“They want to be Black until it’s time to be Black,” she continued. “I don’t respect White Latinos saying n***a. I don’t respect nobody saying n***a. I don’t even respect my people saying it. But I understand.”

She said that it hurts her even more because she doesn’t see non-Black people who say the word “fight” for Black people.

“I can’t let other people disrespect me in my face like that. It make me want to cry. You feel me? I want to do something to a bitch. Because at the end of the day, a lot of these people, you don’t see them at the protest. You don’t see them fight for us. You don’t see them. They stay out. I don’t respect that. So I don’t want nobody playing with us. Saying n***a this and n***a that. I don’t like that. Just stop saying the word respectfully. If you respect our people, stop saying it.”

The altercation seems to have happened during Season 8 of Baddies, with the episode airing at the top of the year. Based on fans’ clips of the show, it appears that Cotto—who is Puerto Rican—said the N-word during a performance, prompting Sukihana to confront her.
