Snoop Dogg made Long Beach feel Pac’s presence again.
During the grand opening of the new F&M Bank Amphitheater on June 6, Snoop paid tribute to his late friend 2Pac in a powerful way. Before performing their classic collaboration “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” an animated Pac with angel wings appeared on the big screen, turning the moment into an emotional reminder of their legacy together.
The tribute hit even deeper because Snoop and Pac’s history was never simple. Their bond helped define a legendary era in West Coast hip-hop, but tensions around the East Coast vs West Coast conflict reportedly created distance between them before Pac’s death.
On the same night, Snoop also received the Key to the City of Long Beach, making the whole event feel like a celebration of legacy, hometown pride, and hip-hop history.
